Searching for Questions in the Quest Question Bank

There are several ways to find a particular question in the Quest repository of Questions based upon the information you are given by the instructor.

Option 1 - Instructor wants to know what questions are available in their area

• Log into the Quest editor:
  https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/editor/main​

• Select itembank, chapter, and section then click Search.

Option 2 - Instructor has the title of the question but can not find it

• Log into the Quest editor:
  https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/editor/main​

• Click on the Title tab

• Enter in the name in the search term field and click Search

  • Ensure it’s the correct question that comes up

• Click on the title.

• Click on banks tab to see where it’s stored

Option 3 - Instructor has the Question ID number but can not find it

• Log into the Quest editor:
  https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/editor/main 

• Use the link below in the window address bar. Substitute the 233235​​ with the Question ID number you are searching for.

• If the question is not displayed then the Question ID number is wrong.

• If the Question ID is correct - click on banks tab to see where it’s stored
