In order of the most requests / min to fewest.

  1. First Day of Period 3 Fall registration (3rd Friday in August)

    1. Peak hour number requests 70,000, extreme front loaded, 20,000 requests in the first 20 minutes.

    2. Groups: All orientation students, readmit, new students (under and grad), grad students, and MBA

  2. First Day of Period 3 Spring (2nd Monday of January)

    1. Peak hour number requests 62,000. Usually around 2 o'clock.

    2. Groups: All continuing students.

  3. Last Day of Staggered Reg for Spring Period 1 (4th Thursday in October)

    1. Peak hour number requests 60,000. Usually around 11:30

    2. Groups: All continuing students

  4. Last Day of Staggered Reg for Fall/Summer Period 1 (4th Thursday in April)

    1. Peak hour number requests 60,000. Usually around 11:30

    2. Groups: All continuing students

  5. First Monday of Period 3 Fall (usually 4th Monday in August)

    1. Peak hour number requests: 39,000

    2. Groups: All students

  6. First class day Fall and Spring.

    1. Peak hour number requests: 30,000, sometime in the morning.

    2. Groups: All continuing students

All staggered days (ex: slot 6 opens at 8 am, 7 at 8:30 and orientation) have an initial uptick at the opening time periods, but the peak requests are around 2,000 to 5,000 in the first 10 minutes then it levels off.
