The Tank

Back Story:

The Tank project started when, by accident, a discarded object with treads was seen under a table in a back office in the machine shop at ETC. Upon further inspection it was found it was fairly complete and by surprise, operational. It was soon acquired as it was to be discarded and we at TIW certainly can't have a 'tank' that was mobile left to the scrap heap. A new project was born.

The tank has been somewhat transformed into a full fledged project overseen by the staff of TIW but innovated and constructed by interested students and Senior project teams. The senior project teams have used this project as their final 'K' project. Any wishing to work on the tank project are welcome to come and chat with Roger or Scott about participating in the project.

Documentation on the construction of the tank will be included in this wiki. As each team completes their part of the project (especially 'K') a report is filed giving detailed information on  the project.

Please read these reports as the students have put a lot of time and effort into creating them and to also get an in depth understanding of what it takes to design and build a complex machine.
