2016-17 Committee Goals

Professional Development Committee

-create opportunities for staff-led professional development at least twice a month

-maintain existing professional development opportunities for student educators and create new ones

-create awards for staff and student educators

-create student advisory board

Technology Committee

-collect and prioritize list of necessary updates to MyUGS system

-note necessary changes and create content to improve SLC website

-train staff and student employees to use UTAppointments and SEATS

Assessment Committee

-research and develop common student educator pay scale, application, and offer letters

-standardize approaches to student educator training and development across program areas

Marketing Committee

-clarify misconceptions about tutoring fee
