By the semester before you graduate, you should have:
- Advanced to Candidacy
- Completed TA requirement
- Completed 18 hours of coursework
- Presented at the 1st/3rd year seminar, and met the attendance requirement
In the semester you plan to graduate you should:
- Register for -99W
- Apply to graduate by the deadline
- Submit your dissertation to your committee at least 28 days before your defense
- Schedule your defense and book a room
- Submit your pink Request for Final Oral 14 days before your defense
- Upload your final dissertation
- Submit all your paperwork to the Graduate School before the deadline
- Complete the department’s Student Graduation Survey, accompanied by an up-to-date CV
- Complete the Student Check-out form, initialed by departmental services
