Graduation Checklist
Before you graduating, you should have:
Completed TA requirement
Completed 18 hours of coursework
Complete attendance requirement of the 1st year seminar
In the semester you plan to graduate you should:
Register for CHE -99W
Schedule your defense and book a room approximately 2 months in advance
Submit your dissertation to your committee at least 4 weeks before your defense
Submit your Request for Final Oral Examination to the Graduate School at least 2 weeks prior to your defense
Once you defended, initiate via DocuSign the Report of the Dissertation Committee form
Upload your final dissertation
Submit all your paperwork to the Graduate School before the deadline
Complete the department’s Student Graduation Survey, accompanied by an up-to-date CV
Complete the Student Check-out form, initialed by departmental services
