3) Build Process

The building process was challenging because I did not have adequate tools available. I do not own an X-ACTO knife and my glue was very old. However, the mechanism did operate properly after I finished building it. There is a significant amount of friction on the dragon’s right horn, though. Since it is made completely out of paper, it is rather flimsy and the tolerance is poor, so friction is expected. The jaws and face are made of regular printer paper instead of cardstock, so they do not hold their shape very well.
