Accessing a Shared Mailbox with Outlook Web

Log on to Outlook on the web at https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox. Log on with your EID and EID password. Note: DUO is required to access Outlook on the web. If you have not registered a device, please visit https://utdirect.utexas.edu/apps/duo/register/.
In the upper-right-hand corner of the web browser, click on your name. Choose “Open another mailbox.”
An “Open another mailbox” dialog box will appear. Type in the email address of the shared mailbox and when it appears in the list, select it, and choose Open.
The shared account will open. You can verify you are logged into the shared account by looking at the web address. It should display https://outlook.office.com/mail/SharedMailboxName@prc.utexas.edu/inbox. Note: The SharedMailboxName is an example.
Once you are logged into the shared mailbox, save the web address as a bookmark. Use the bookmark the next time the account needs to be accessed.
