Edit the RTXTV-FS-Sports Score_Team Logos Adobe Premiere project file
This project template has nested sequences for team logos and will need to be hidden or unhidden and moved to either the AWAY team or the HOME team.
This project has text layers that will be edited to enter the score, team record, and for NCAA, team ranking (if the team is ranked in the top 25).
Once you open the project file, this is the layer structure that you will see.
Each sport (NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB) will have a nested sequence of logos.
Simply hide the layers that are not being reported on.
Double click the nested sequence that is being reported on and then unhide the school logos that are being reported on.
Rearrange the logos to be either the AWAY team or the HOME team. (Away team is on top, Home team is on bottom).

After double clicking on the nested sequence of team logos you will simply unhide the teams being reported on, and hide
the other teams.
Rearrange the logos to be either the AWAY team or the HOME team.
AWAY team is always on TOP. HOME team is always on BOTTOM.
NOTE: The logos can be scaled for better placement on screen. Just make sure they are close to the same size.

Obtaining logos that are needed | |
---|---|
Logos that are needed that are not already part of the project template are easy to find. Wikipedia has transparent logos for download. | |
Search for the team. In this example we searched for Alabama. Make sure you select the University or football program. | |
Once the page loads, click on the logo on the top right corner the page. | |
After clicking on the logo you will see a large transparent version of the logo. Simply drag and drop that logo over to the logo's folder in Finder. You can also right-click on the logo and click on SAVE IMAGE AS, but will need to change the file name to .png. The default file type is a .svg file. This file type will not work in Premiere. It is good practice to clean up the filenames. Some of the filenames from Wikipedia can look like → 2560px-Alabama_Athletics_logo.svg.png Omit any extra text in the filename and keep only the school name. → Alabama.png |
