To add timecode burn in on your AVID timeline so that the clips source timecode is displayed on the sequence edit the clips into the timeline

Add a New Video Track

Timeline > New > Video Track (Command Y)

Go to the Effect Palette > Select Generator> Timecode Burn-In

Drag the effect on to the V2 Filler Track

 Activate the second video layer to view your new timecode effect

Go into Effect Editor to change the effect settings

Choose Source Timecode to show the clips timecode in the sequence


To make the font bigger increase font size



Can also change the color and opacity of the background
