To add timecode burn in on your AVID timeline so that the clips source timecode is displayed on the sequence edit the clips into the timeline |  |
Add a New Video Track Timeline > New > Video Track (Command Y) |  |
Go to the Effect Palette > Select Generator> Timecode Burn-In |  |
Drag the effect on to the V2 Filler Track |  |
Activate the second video layer to view your new timecode effect |

Go into Effect Editor to change the effect settings |  |
Choose Source Timecode to show the clips timecode in the sequence |
 |
Congratulations! You have a timecode burn-in! |  |
