AVID - Add Timecode Burn In Overlay to Sequence
To add timecode burn in on your AVID timeline so that the clips source timecode is displayed on the sequence edit the clips into the timeline |

Add a New Video Track Timeline > New > Video Track (Command Y) |
|
Go to the Effect Palette > Select Generator> Timecode Burn-In |
|
Drag the effect on to the V2 Filler Track |
|
Activate the second video layer to view your new timecode effect | |
Go into Effect Editor to change the effect settings |
|
Choose Timecode to show the timecode of the sequence |
|
Congratulations! You have a timecode burn-in! Your timecode display should match the timecode of the timeline |
