Future Work

In the upcoming months, the team intends to make further improvements to the device in order to make a deliverable product for Ceci. The overall design and functionality of the device is set, however, there are many areas that need to be improved in terms of aesthetics and interacting with the user. The list below details future work to be completed on the device.

  • Attach padding to several key areas of interaction 

  • Add hip straps to help stabilize Ceci while using device

  • Implement foot switch for easy activation of table mechanism

  • Place device on wheels

  • Attach wood surface to function as a table top 

  • Integrate compact, mobile, and lightweight power source
