Advising:  Each semester students should complete the advising form and work with a faculty member to approve your course plan.

To begin you will need your supervisor/advisor’s EID. See https://directory.utexas.edu/

To route the form, use the EID email: (insert faculty EID)@eid.utexas.edu

The completed form must be returned by the 4th class day of the Fall/Spring (2nd class day of the Summer) semester to the Graduate Coordinator.

For current or former M.S. students planning to continue on to the PhD program within the CAEE Department. The completed form must be submitted to the CAEE Graduate Coordinator.
Note: students who were admitted to the MS Only program will also need to complete an application for Admission to change to the PhD Civil major code. See also Change Graduate Major .

Advancing to Doctoral Candidacy

Request to Change the Dissertation Committee Changes to committee membership require special approval.
