Tips for Purchase Order Identification
A Purchase Order Number is an important piece of tracking info related to the items that are ordered for our College. This number is always listed as:
202_UXXXXX
The first 4 digits are the purchasing year in which the item is ordered and the final 5 digits are the order number. The middle letter will be A, U, or O.
When this number is found on a package, please ensure you are highlighting it, then moving the item to it’s designated inventory shelf.
The PO# will be found on the package’s shipping label. This can come in various formats as seen below:
