Educator Code of Ethics

Per Texas law, all preservice teachers must abide by the Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators and students accepted into the PDS were provided this information. By signing this document, the preservice teacher agreed to read and adhere to the Code of Ethics during their enrollment in The University of Texas teacher preparation program. The Code of Ethics definitions and standards are included in the link above and apply not only in university coursework, but also in the host classrooms where the preservice teacher is gaining practical experience.
