Outreach and Inreach
Institutions should plan to participate in these and other outreach activities they deem necessary and beneficial to their HUB programs.
The purpose for outreach is to provide continuous liaison with statewide HUB community and Minority Trade Organizations. The HUB/SB Office attends and makes presentations regarding procurement process at The University of Texas at Austin and their satellite campuses.
The HUB/SB Office sets up interface meetings between HUB vendors and departmental personnel to make them knowledgeable of HUB vendors capability of supplying needed materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
The HUB/SB Office educates faculty and staff by visiting their departments to facilitate the maximizing of purchases from HUB firms.
Procurement and Payment Services informs the HUB community of the benefits of registration onto Bonfire (UT Formal Bid Solicitation) portal.
