EMMA - Email Marketing

EMMA Best Practices – Brief

  • All approvals by your leadership and subject matter experts should be done before you add an email to the system. If you submit it for approval to my office and we approve, the only way to edit is to cancel and return it to you
  • All emails need to be entered into our EMMA email spreadsheet in advance. My office uses this spreadsheet to check that your subject line, sender info, date, time and audience are correct and we use this for load balancing email across the portfolio. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tuQYZxd8xzlzYPJObHbpbNrkjj-oJSehOA1pK5RExLg/edit#gid=0
  • Please give us one business days’ notice to approve email. If the email is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 AM, it should be submitted for approval today at 10 AM. If you have an urgent email that can’t be scheduled in advance, please email me and submit with at minimum one hour’s notice.
