HUB/SB Associate Duties

Responsibilities in RFP Process

The HUB/SB Staff Associate in Procurement works closely with the RFP Team in Procurement.

The HUB/SB Staff Associate is responsible for:

  • Curating a manageable list of HUB vendors for the RFP bid. 

    • The list should be about 20-40 vendors. Confirm what is manageable for the RFP Coordinator.

    •  Ask the RFP coordinator for the NGIP codes if necessary.

    • Ask the RFP coordinator when they would like the list by. 

  • Attend Pre-Proposal and Evaluation Team meetings. 

    • At Pre-Proposal meetings, introduce the HUB program, its values and it's role in compliance.

    •  At evaluation team meetings, listen for any likelihood for subcontracting work. 

  • Review HSPs in the proposals, determine if it meets Good Faith Effort and then send it to Program Administrator.

 

  • Bid Notifications (within 48 hrs of bid posting)

  1. Create outreach campaign in B2G 

  2.  Email vendors with related scope of work and vendors met from introductory meetings

  3. Create a flyer (bids with high HUB potential)

  4. Email trade organizations from Comptroller website
