How to Install ETC Canon Printers - MacOS

If there is a need to print from a non-UT managed Mac where UT Self Service is not installed, please submit a ticket to mech-it@austin.utexas.edu.

Open Applications in Finder and launch/open “UT Self Service”
Under the Browse – All section, find “MECH – Install ETC Canon Printers” and click Install and wait until it says Done/Reinstall.
Once the installation completes, verify the printers were installed by going to System Preferences/Settings and and then selecting "Printers & Scanners" from the left menu.
In the Printers & Scanners window you should see the printers installed as ME-ETC-5.226-Canon-1 and ME-ETC-5.226-Canon-2.
