missing cuas

Sometimes, electrons dance differently.

One of the outcomes of this is that a student (or a few) will not get an assignment generated. Students are usually pretty vocal if they don't see something they're told should be there. To resolve such a case.

Have assignment.id or learningmodule.id (i.e., sys admin: from the instructor assignment view--ex lrm837j, lmod 378597). masq as instructor (sys admin, masq) go to assignment of interest, grab assignment.id or lmod.id in address line (e.g., end of URL: assignment_1487935 ).

Take this number to the CUA drill down page ( https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/institutionadmin/institutions/show?institutioncredential=72276 ) and place it in the relevant box under 'elements' (assignment.id on left, lmod.id on right), view.

on beta=none: At the bottom of the next page, click 'CUA, Tex, and PDF'. On the next page, at the bottom of the page, click the 'generate missing cuas' blue button at the bottom.(This is a batch job, usually pretty fast though)

on beta: instances, main. click generate missing instances

Open

to check: look for 'generation completed' in above student assignment status box for that eid, AND/OR masq as that eid person (student) , verify when the assignment shows up for them.
