Screen dailies
Log and capture footage (selects). Do not overlook importance of logging.
Assembly cut pre-preliminary cut. Only scenes put together in order but without thoughts to cutting
Rough Cut preliminary cut. Cutting has roughly been done to frame, but there is still place to move around.
Picture Lock Finished edit without sound.
Edit Sound Sound editing begins.
Sound Mix sound is mixed into one track.
