EmailPurposeModsNotes
Newslettergeneral, public-interest communication (not for members - for donors, general interest, alumni, etc). see NewsletterSAGA - sign in with mailchimp (see Passwords doc)

i made a mistake when i signed up, note that the username is our email with two s's at the front: ssaga.mfaorg@gmail.com

gather emails at open studios etc with a paper sign up sheet

sagasteering@utlists.utexas.eduinternal communication(see UT lists entry on Passwords doc)for the Steering Committee only
sagabox@utlists.utexas.edu (NOT USED)EID and Box Account(see UT lists entry on Passwords doc)

this is a weird list serv we had to make to get a UT Box account. you don't need to do anything except make sure at least one of the subscribers is someone who SAGA currently knows (or SAGA gmail)

Note: As with all UT EIDs, Guest EIDs will expire after a sustained period of non-use (i.e., not logging in). Be sure to regularly authenticate with the Guest EID, as you will need to reset the password if the EID becomes locked.

the EID password reset email will go here if you have to reset the SAGA EID Passwords
saga@utlists.utexas.eduall communication to all SAGA members (associate, full, steering)saga gmail, kerry maguire, joy scanlonfor ALL members, including Full Membership, Associate Members and Steering Committee
xFull MembershipxPlease note that there is no List-servs that correspond to the Full Membership as this seems redundant with group chats, with the studioartmfa list-serv run by COFA, etc.

How to Use UT Lists

Here is some Introductory Information on using the UT lists service.

Log in to the UT Lists system (to administrate and see lists).

  • Note: Log in with the SAGA email - see Passwords. You can also add your own account to the list as a moderator and then use that.
  • You have to make a new account for it that is not your EID. Not sure why! Use your UT Email, though.
  • To find the list, log in to the system, press your name in the top right> my lists, and then pick the right list.

  • Read archive by pressing the Archive button on the bottom of the menu on the left once you are in the list.
