Printing and Copying Policy

The following are departmental policies regarding copying and printing. For materials not specifically listed, please use this general guideline: For course materials, please scan and share with your students via email or Canvas as much as possible. For Theatre and Dance productions and your administrative tasks, copy as much as necessary, but consider using the scan to e-mail function as often as possible.

Faculty

  • For Classes: exams, quizzes, and course material copies for faculty member/TA only.
  • Any necessary administrative documents for UT-related business.
  • For Classes: scripts, course packets, and readings. These should instead be scanned and uploaded to Blackboard or Canvas.
  • Anything for non-departmental productions.

Graduate Students

  • For Classes: exams and quizzes. 72 business hours advanced notice and approval required. Contact main office.
  • Assistant Instructors may print their personal copy of the course material.
  • For Classes: scripts, course packets, and readings. These should instead be scanned and uploaded to Canvas.
  • Personal items or materials for a course taken as a student.

Stage Managers, Assistant Stage Managers, and Directors

  • For Departmental Productions: scripts and handouts for cast, designers, technicians, stage members, and other members of the production team.
  • Anything for non-departmental productions.

Staff

  • Necessary administrative documents. Use scan to e-mail when possible.
