Communications helps improve visibility of UTSC, its goals, and its completed projects across campus.

2014-2015 Term Proposal

Our goals for this term's Communication Committee are:

• Migrate the existing static pages from the current website (here: www.utexas.edu/staff/council/  ) to a new one at staffcouncil.utexas.edu (hosted on sites.utexas.edu with the eventual goal of living on the UT Managed Drupal CMS.)
• Continue our outreach efforts by presenting to other UT offices and organizations.
• Continue to produce monthly meeting summaries for distribution to UTSC representatives.
• Continue to maintain UTSC presence on social media, such as Twitter, Facebook.
• Work with HR and ITS to iron out the bugs and user interface issues with the new UT Group Email system (Regroup).
• • Specifically, we need a better "Help" system/link that does not direct users to the vendor site.
• Maintain documentation for the means of implementing all of this, in order to provide for a smooth transition every year.
