How to Install GLT Canon Printers - MacOS

If there is a need to print from a non-UT managed Mac where UT Self Service is not installed, please submit a ticket to mech-it@austin.utexas.edu.

The GLT printers are locked down using individually assigned ID and PIN. Do not share your ID and PIN with anyone else. Print usage is tracked per individual.

If you have not been given an ID and PIN, please submit a ticket to mech-it@austin.utexas.edu to request access to GLT printers.

Open Applications in Finder and launch/open “UT Self Service”
Under the Browse – All section, find the desire GLT printer(s) and click Install and wait until it says Done/Reinstall.
Once the installation completes, verify the printers were installed by going to System Preferences/Settings and and then selecting "Printers & Scanners" from the left menu.
In the Printers & Scanners window you should see the printers installed as ME-GLT-Floor-2-Canon and ME-GLT-Floor-3-Canon.
