Upon creating a new Collection in the DAMS, the system will automatically add identifiers of type utldamsPID and utldamsURI.

Repository (Collections) — see Repository
A digital Collection in the DAMS can hold digitally reformatted versions of objects from multiple physical locations/repositories. Therefore the Repository statement in a Collection's metadata is repeatable.

Source Collection (Collections) — see Source Collection
A digital Collection in the DAMS can hold digitally reformatted versions of objects from multiple (primary) source collection contexts. Therefore the Source Collection statement in a Collection's metadata is repeatable.

The Title statement of a DAMS Collection is not repeatable.

Type of Resource (Collections) — see Type of Resource
When adding a Collection to the DAMS, the MODS XML element typeOfResource in the Collection metadata will automatically receive a collection="yes" attribute.
