Registration

Registration periods for Fall 2026

Check your course enrollment and class roster on CLIPs.

Undergraduate courses need 10 students enrolled and graduate courses need 5 in order not to be cancelled.

If you need to cancel a course with students enrolled, please submit a cancel request form to Jenna. COLA has to approve the request before we can cancel the course.

Courses need to meet an enrollment of 65 students to be considered for a TA, 25 students for a writing intensive course.


Course Planning

Course scheduling starts a year in advance- October for next fall semester, April for the following spring semester. The course request form is sent to faculty in the fall for both semesters of the following AY.

Is the course I want to offer an existing course or a new course?

Check to see if you course already exists in the course catalog. To propose a new course, please submit a new course description to Jenna when you fill out your course request form. New courses cannot have more than 30% content overlap with an existing course.

For undergraduate courses, non-standard meeting times are MW times and a 3hr block before 2pm. Non-standard times are limited for each dept. To request a 3hr block course time for an undergraduate class please submit a NST request form to Jenna.
