Is there a limit on how many sports I can play?

There are no restrictions on individual participation in regards to how many Intramural sports, events, or tournaments a participant may compete in within a single semester.

How many teams can I play for?

In general, individuals may play for one team per division per sport.  Some sports have limits that are outlined specifically on the Event Webpage each semester.  Limits are due to time and space, and to allow for the largest number of different students to play for at least one team.

  1. Limits may be different in the same sport from one semester to the next.  For example, during the Fall 7v7 Soccer tournament a player may play for two teams (one Men's/Women's, one Coed) but during the Spring 7v7 Soccer tournament a player may play for only one total team (Men's/Women's or Coed, but not both).

  2. When Specialty Divisions are offered like Fraternity/Sorority or 6 Foot and Under, sometimes a player may play for one Men's/Women's team AND one Fraternity/Sorority team, and sometimes not.  Please check the Event Webpage carefully.

  3. Competitive levels are NOT separate Divisions (A, B, C).  A player may play for only one team when competitive levels are offered, not multiple teams.  For example, a player may NOT play for a Men's B team AND a Men's C team, or a Coed A team AND a Coed B team, regardless of the day and time they play.
