G.4 Statements from Other Administrators (if applicable)

Additional statements evaluating the candidate’s contributions to teaching, research, mentoring, or service (as applicable) may be provided by unit heads in a variety of circumstances including, but not limited to, the following examples:

• If the faculty member holds a joint appointment of less than 30% or a courtesy appointment in another unit or units, the unit’s department chair or dean may provide a letter.
• If the faculty member contributes to an organized research unit, the director may provide a statement.
