    1. Beginning Fall 2024 - The Provost’s Office will enforce a minimum Canvas presence policy for all organized courses with more than 5 students. Minimum presence involves:
      1. posting the official course syllabus in the official Syllabus tab on Canvas course page and

    2. Official courses are automatically created in Canvas at least two months before the semester begins. They are not available to students, however, until the instructor publishes it.
    3. A sandbox course allows you to test Canvas features in a safe environment. In your sandbox course, you can add files, create quizzes, etc. and easily copy this content into your official course when you're ready.

    4. Need help with Canvas? Some options...

      1. Visit the Canvas Training Center.

      2. Seek consultation from the Moody College's Center for Advancing Teaching Excellence (CATE).

      3. Contact the UT Service Desk at 512-475-9400.
