Student Teacher Travel Assistance

UTeach Fine Arts periodically offers funding to supplement travel expenses related to student teaching. We have three funding programs, with applications that generally open in the Fall semester:

  • Student Teacher Scholarship;

  • Student Teaching Transportation Stipends for travel within the Austin area; and

  • FASTT (Fine Arts Student Teaching Travel) stipends, for student teachers placed in Title 1 schools situated at least 60+ miles outside of the Austin Metro area.
