House keeping | Itza | |
History of the group | Itza | Meeting since Fall 2018 Start from the bottom to learn about LD. Just foundations, no heavy tech talk What do we need to know, before we start talking about where we want to go Between 6 to 3 sessions per semester Itza facilitates tutorials every monthly meet up It eventually evolved to case study presentations Very Group driven Today Last Semester, it was focused on Wikidata

Questions relating the transition | Melanie | We are allowed to create a group wiki instead of having it associated with a person. Listserv -- who is the co-owners now? Owners: Jessica, Itza, Michael Moderators: Paloma and Katie
UT box co-ownership can be tricky. We might want to double check

Beth - Love hearing about everybody’s project and specially what areas overlap. When this all started, one of her goals was having an infrastructure for name authorities Katie - Great space for learning. Need to figure out what it is that we want to learn Michael - really enjoys having this group as an excuse to do hands on experiments. More exploration (scipts, etc…). Also really likes the project sharing component Melanie is now faculty at the ischool, so that might help Having one hands on activity that everybody follows, is a great opportunity develop new skills and learning Paloma - Bring in speakers from outside Mandy - Collect capstones opportunities from different institutions involved on this group Michael - there might be a conflict with IIIF community meeting, that he is attending Nicole SNAC has an upcoming community meeting - https://portal.snaccooperative.org/events
