Subject: [lib-sm] Assessment Team

Service Managers,

I am following up on our discussion at the last meeting. As I mentioned, the Assessment Team has been reconstituted. I have attached the Team’s charge. As a mentioned, the Team is in the Phase 1 of the charge and working on an environmental scan and data inventory. We are trying to create a snapshot of what kind of assessment is happening in the Libraries and, what I think might be more important, what kind of assessment you would like to see in the future.

Can you help us gather information about assessment at your branches? Members of the Assessment Team are meeting with other departments and subject teams. What I am gathering is more branch-specific information, but feel free to include ideas for things you would like to see assessed. I have recorded some of your feedback on a GoogleDoc. If you would like to provide more feedback, please visit the link and edit the document. I will be sending this document to the team next Monday, so make any edits before then.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Joe
