Remote Desktop Access for Mac users

Important Note: If you are connecting to a lab computer from off-campus, you must first connect to the VPN using the Cisco Secure Client. You can download and install it from here:  https://vpn.utexas.edu

You must have the Microsoft Remote Desktop app installed. Click here to get it.


  1. Navigate to our lab remote access page:  https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/utche

     


     2. Choose a lab computer you want to connect to

         Computers currently in-use will not be listed

     3. Click Connect

     4. Click Download

     5. If prompted, allow the download

     6. Open the RDP file

          In the Downloads folder in Finder or your web browser

     7. Enter your UT EID and password and click Continue

    


   8. When asked to accept the certificate, click Continue.
