How the EDP Department is Structured

As a graduate student, you are part of both the EDP Department and the Graduate School. Within the Graduate School, your field of study is the EDP Department, and within the Department, you belong to a Program Area (also called “Specialization”): Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, HDCLS, Quantitative Methods, or School/Clinical Child Psychology. While your specialization is on record in our office and at the Graduate School, it does not appear on diplomas.
