BIZHUB Scanning Tips

Scanning large documents on the 10^th floor BIZHUB, usually to digitize old files, can be slow to scan/process.

• Changing the ‘Original type’ from “Photo & Text” to “Newspaper / Magazine” will reduce the scan processing time and skip blank page artifacts that would normally be included unintentionally.

  • Some blank pages may have artifacts that the copier will count as data and will include as a page (hole punches, for example).
