Add Email Account to Outlook Application

 

Note: The images in this article reflect the setup process on the most recent version of Outlook on a Mac OS. On Windows, this process is a bit similar but the photos may not match.

  1. Ensure you have signed up for an @austin.utexas.edu account.

    1. To verify if you have an email account, log in here: https://office365.austin.utexas.edu/ and select the Outlook WebApp.

    2. Once an @austin.utexas.edu account has been provisioned (it may take up to 2 hours), add this email account to the Outlook application.

  2. Open the Outlook Application/Program. 

    1. If installation is needed, submit a ticket to LAITS.

  3. The application may find the @austin.utexas.edu email account automatically or it can be entered manually.

  1. Once entered select ‘Add’ and you will be prompted to enter in a UT Email or EID and PW

  2. Then authenticate via DUO - If you do not have DUO installed, please contact UT ITS

  1. The email account will be added successfully, and the inbox should take a moment to download.

  2. One the download is successful, select ‘Done’.
