Yeager Server Remote Setup for Windows

Ensure that you are connected to the Server VPN before attempting to login.

Remote Setup for Windows:

  1. From the Windows search bar, type Remote Desktop Connections.  Click on Remote Desktop Connection.

  1. In the Remote Desktop Connection app, click Show Options.

  1. For the computer name, type pprc-yeager-p03.austin.utexas.edu

    1. Username: Enter your UT EID

  1. Click Save As. Name the remote connection PRC Yeager Server and save it to your desktop.

    1. A PRC Yeager Server icon will appear on your desktop.

  1. Locate the PRC Yeager Server icon and double-click. Check the box: Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer

    1. Click Connect

 

  1. Type in your Server Password

    1. Password: Enter your UT EID Password

    2. Click Ok.

  1. A warning message will appear about a certificate error. Check the box: Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer. Click Yes.

  1. Your Remote Desktop client will connect to the server.

 

Please ensure that you are using your UT EID credentials to connect to the server. Previously used Stache credentials will NOT work.
