SW Scholars: Purchasing

You will have a $10,000 stipend annually for research-related purchases and travel. It's advised to work closely with your mentor and/or lab manager for guidance on working through UT's purchasing guidelines. When you are ready, contact your respective department regarding purchasing procedures. Depending on the price and type of item, some items you purchase using your UT funds remain with UT at the end of your appointment. For example, if you purchase a computer, this computer belongs to UT and you will not be able to take it with you.
