Election Timeline
Elections are split into two sections to ensure continuity.
- One (1) Co-Directors and the Resource + Finance Chair will be elected between April 1st and April 30th for the following academic year; the remainder of the positions (External Communications + Events Chair, Internal Communications Chair, Co-Directors #2) will be elected between the beginning of school and Sept 20th of that academic year in order to include the incoming cohort.
Each of the co-directors must be from different cohorts; nominees elected into other positions can be any person from any cohort. There must be at least one person from each cohort represented in the totality of the elected officers
This is a sample of an election timeline for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 school year:
- April 2022: Co-director 1 and Resource and Finance Chair are elected
- Training for two new elected officers occurs before May 30th, 2022
- School begins on August 20th. Between August 20, 2022 and Sepetember 20, 2022, Co-Director #2, Internal Communications Chair, and External + Events Chair are elected.
