Purpose:

Administers and coordinates the Department of Theater and Dance graduate programs in Dance, Design and Technology, Theater for Youth and Communities, Performance as Public Practice, Directing and Playwriting.

General Duties: 

• Assists graduate students with registration, graduation, and general questions.

• Maintains graduate student records, files, and databases.

• Manages the graduate student email list.

• Provides Enrollment Verifications

• Tracks TA/AI assignments and is responsible for issuing appointment letters.

• Tracks scholarship allocations and submits funding nominations.

• Tracks and compiles data related to graduate enrollment and programs.

• Assists the Graduate Advisor with Grad ExComm meetings, deadlines, and fellowships.

• Serves as a liaison with the Graduate School and the College of Fine Arts.

• Advocates for graduate student needs and concerns. 

• Tracks alumni outcomes.

Admissions and Recruiting: 

• Serves as primary liaison between the department and prospective graduate students.

• Coordinates graduate admissions with program heads. 

• Administers the application process for all graduate programs.  

• Issues email status updates and manages admissions in the EASI system.

• Responsible for new graduate student orientation
