UTL Metadata Steering Committee

Charge: 

The Metadata Steering Committee will ensure coordinated, intentional, and consistent metadata practices across the UT Libraries by:  

1. Establishing UT Libraries metadata strategy. 

2. Creating and maintaining UT Libraries metadata policies, guidelines, and best practices. 

3. Developing workflows for a seamless pipeline between content acquisition/creation, description, and access. 

4. Providing training and support for staff who are creating metadata.
