Adobe Premiere Pro - How to Add Timecode Burn In Overlay
Open Timeline |

In the project window click on New Item >Adjustment Layer |
|
The Adjustment Layer should be automatically set to the timelines size so click OK |
|
Drag the Adjustment Layer from the project window to the timeline |
|
Drag the Adjustment layer all the way to the end of the sequence so it covers the whole timeline |

In the Project Window Click on the Effects Tab Might have to click on the more options icon to see Effects |
|
>Effects >Video >Metadata and Timecode Burn-in |

Then drag the >Metadata and Timecode Burn-in to the adjustment layer |

Next modify the burn in Go to the Effect Controls Tab (this will be in the upper left corner of the monitor)
Go to the >Metadata & Timecode Burn-in (twirldown)
Change Line 1 to Sequence Timecode
You can also customize the Size and Opacity of the burn in

Now the burn in will show on the timeline displaying the sequence timecode for the sequence |
