Viewport Replacement

Bake Viewport on BOS
Handling and baking a viewport is similar to a blank, with a big difference: there is glass in the middle of the component!
Be extra careful, handling, bolting, tightening, and baking the viewport!
Install viewport on BOS
Be careful when inserting bolts and tighten them down with fingers and with wrench
Attach thermocouple to a flange near viewport glass (not necessarily near the viewport glass) with kapton tape
Cover with inner double-layer of foil
Avoid a build up or bunching up of foil over the glass, flattened foil is better
Don't press down over glass to flatten foil, do it before overlaying
Use the bolts to apply pressure to foil near glass
Don't apply pressure directly over glass when wrapping with foil or taping heater tape or thermocouple
Put on heater tape, not much is needed for viewports
Kapton tape as needed but sparingly
Avoid any heater tape over the glass
Avoid any heater tape over the thermocouple wire, the wire insulation will melt at ~130 C
Put on outer double-layer of foil
Use the bolts again to apply pressure to foil near glass
Bake the viewport
Take HVP off BOS and put on transit case
Always check transit case viton seal
If transit case isn't available, carefully use a blank
Replace Viewport
Prep glovebag
Vent Bravo
Remove old Viewport
Like removing a blank, but we need to be extra careful about the glass
Remove the old viewport
If it is good for re-use after etching, wrap it in kimwipes, then clean foil
If it is leaking or not reusable, foil and trash it
Install new Viewport
Like installing a blank, but we need to be extra careful about the glass
Be careful when inserting bolts and tighten them down with fingers and with wrench
Pump down the chamber.
Leak check the HVP assembly, shutters, and things we were working near (e.g. cell power and thermocouple feedthroughs, N2 cell feedthroughs)
