Blackbodies A and C
Blackbody A - gets input from the irradiance and rtd sensors and outputs it through can to the rest of the car. sensor data is specifically used for mppt algorithm and telemetry
Blackbody C (lowkey a misleading name) - literally just the irradiance sensor + a resistor + a capacitor. simply just to hold the irradiance sensor and then connected through i2c to the blackbody A
Heliosphere & Light Stand
A solar simulator equipment to test and characterize individual solar cells without the need to physically stand under the sun (around hopefully 12 pm peak sun).
Eclipse Software & Server & Database
The Eclipse software simulates various components of the solar array subsystems, including the following:
Solar Array
DC-DC Converter
MPPT
Load (Kinda)
Additionally, this simulator also can simulate the source properties of solar cells. All results are then backed up to a local database.
