_Download datastreams

Users with manage permissions can see and download datastreams associated with DAMS objects, by navigating to the Manage tab and Datastreams view (shown below). 

Open

• clicking the datastream ID, as shown in the left-most column, will do one of the following, depending on the mime type of that datastream:

  • display that datastream in a viewer (as typical for pdf and jpeg datastreams, for instance)

  • initiate a download of the datastream as a file named "view.file_extension" 

• clicking the download link in the Operations column will initiate a download of the datastream as a file named the same as in the Label column shown, "label.file_extension"
