By Bike:

Bicycling is a convenient way to get around campus. If you’ve already got a bike, make sure it’s registered, know the campus bike rules, and check out The Kickstand, the university bike hub. The Kickstand is where you can register your bike; buy helmets, locks, hand pumps, lights, tubes, patch kits, bike lube, water bottles, or other biking supplies; and use air pumps or other tools.

If you don’t have your own bicycle, rentals are available at stations all across town through Austin B-Cycle: https://austin.bcycle.com/ Trips of LESS THAN 30 Minutes using this service are FREE.

By Car:

Everyone parking on the UT campus MUST have a UT Parking permit. You can purchase a parking permit by visiting: https://parking.utexas.edu/parking/

There is limited public paid meter street parking on Dean Keeton near the EERC building. The fee is $1/hour. Please note there are maximum time limits for these parking spots.

RideShare - UT Night Rides

Did you know that as a UT employee you can get free rides home? The University of Texas at Austin’s Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is partnered with Lyft to offer free rides home from main campus after hours through UT Night Rides.

The program only covers rides from campus to certain areas, at certain times.
