CDO Campus Environmental Scan

We are busy making project plans...here's a short description:

• Complex Digital Objects - give examples and define terms

• Environmental scan of what CDOs mean in the context of Art, Architecture, and Archaeology

  • identify issues common to all

  • how they are using, managing, and preserving those things

• One faculty and one staff per unit for the interviews = total of 6 interviews

• Accountability for project (who are we?) - UT-DPIG members involved in this effort are representing their respective institutions (not representing ourselves as an identified interest or working group)

  • Helpful to have members representing spectrum of CDO lifecycle: field-specific library/archives, unit responsible for University archives, unit responsible for access services.
