SOP For UTHUB-HSP Inbox
Standard Operating Procedure For UTHUB-HSP Inbox
1. Peruse inbox daily. If an email pertains to you, categorize is as yours by right-clicking on it and selecting your category color code. Also, be aware that an email may be assigned and categorized to you by someone else. To find all emails categorized as yours, you can click the “categories” header to arrange by category.
2. If you accidentally open an email or open an email that does not pertain to you, be sure to right click it and designate the email as “unread” so that all team members can easily spot them.
3. When you have completed all tasks pertaining to that email, designate it as complete by clicking the “flag” column twice, which generates a “check mark”. After designating it a complete, move it to the appropriate archive folder. All completed check marked items that are still in the main inbox will be archived periodically.
4. If you are working on an email that is older than one month, designate it as “still in process” by clicking the “flag” column once, which will generate a flag next to the email. That will ensure that it does not get archived and also places special attention on it as a “time sensitive” email.
