Welcome to our last newsletter of the 2025–2026 school year! Before everyone heads off for summer adventures, we’ve got a few quick tips on saving and backing up your files so everything stays safe while you’re away.

Ensure that your files and in-progress work are synced by checking that OneDrive’s background process is running via its Taskbar tray icon. As long as you save your files on the OneDrive folder, the files you have saved will upload when you reconnect to the internet. Remember to leave your computers on and connected to the internet!

Ensure that your files and in-progress work are synced by checking that OneDrive’s background process is running via its Taskbar tray icon. You can select the AutoSave button on the file you’re working on for it to save as you type. As long as you save your files on the OneDrive folder, the files you have saved will upload when you reconnect to the internet.

Setting up a DEPARTMENTAL Box folder is much safer than having one person make a folder and share across an organization. When the owner of the folder has their account deleted or deactivated, that folder will no longer exist, and collaborators will lose access to its contents. Yikes! Box accounts are granted unlimited storage quotas with a maximum individual file size limit of 50GB, making it a great tool for backing up important files.
